This 12-month staff position is intended to support multilingual writers, both directly through tutoring in our Writing Center and indirectly through workshops and faculty development with Writing Program instructors and others in the university. The English Department Writing Program of Northeastern University seeks to fill one or more benefits-eligible, full-time positions for Assistant or Associate Teaching Professors, beginning in September 2016. Assistant or Associate Teaching Professors teach first-year and advanced writing courses, including courses in writing for the humanities, the social sciences, the sciences, the health professions, the engineering and computer science professions, the business profession, and the criminal justice professions. Full-time teaching load is three courses per semester.
The English Department of Northeastern University invites applications for a Rhetoric and Composition specialist at the rank of associate or full professor to begin in Fall 2015. Preference is for scholars working in digital rhetorics, multimodal composing, or other relevant areas of Digital Humanities. Further specializations in cultural rhetorics, multilingual writing, community engagement, or writing across the curriculum/writing in the disciplines are also welcome.
