Description/Primary Responsibilities: The English Department at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Rhetoric and Writing Studies, beginning Fall 2009. We seek a new colleague who is an engaging teacher and scholar with a strong commitment to undergraduate education. Primary upper level teaching responsibilities will be in courses in our new and expanding Rhetoric and Writing major emphasis, as well as regular assignments in freshman composition.

The Department of English at the University of Kentucky has been authorized to fill a postdoctoral position for its Writing Program. This appointment, to begin 1 August 2008, is a two-year, non-renewable position with three-fold responsibilities: research, teaching, and Writing Program administration.
