The SHSS Writing Center supports students and faculty across the university by teaching writing and communication courses in the university core curriculum, and developing a robust culture of writing across the university.
The Department of Writing at Grand Valley State University is hiring an affiliate faculty member. The position is a full-time (9 month), non-tenure track position to teach 12 to 15 credit hours of first-year writing beginning August 6, 2019.

Yeshiva College, located in Upper Manhattan, is currently looking to hire one part-time faculty member to teach in our First Year Writing program, beginning in late August, 2018. In addition, it’s possible that we would be able to offer hours in our Writing Center. This position would start in early October, and adjunct faculty writing tutors are paid $35 per hour for shifts on Sunday afternoons/evenings and Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday afternoons/evenings (this is on top of competitive pay for the FYWR course).
