Speakers

• Doug Hesse (University of Denver) will discuss ways of collaboratively composing a writing program during a year of preparation.
• Jaime Mejia ( Southwest Texas State University) will discuss mentoring strategies for preparing the next generation of teachers and scholars.
• Kyoko Sato (California State University at Northridge) will present the expectations and practices of secondary English language arts teachers on how they prepare high school students to write for the college classroom or the world of work.
• Edward M. White (Visiting Professor of English, University of Arizona) will speak at our banquet on placement and exemption.

Conference registration fee: $275
(includes Friday breakfast, lunch, evening banquet and two breaks; Saturday breakfast, lunch, and two breaks; and Sunday breakfast)
