The Department of English at High Point University invites applications for two tenure-track assistant professorships in Rhetoric and Composition to begin August 2009, pending funding approval.

Qualifications: Earned PhD in Rhetoric or Composition; demonstrated scholarly potential and commitment to undergraduate teaching; excellent writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.

High Point University is a private, liberal arts institution housing a dynamic community of teachers and scholars. Faculty at High Point University are expected to participate in related national organizations and to produce refereed scholarship/creative work.
