Composition Coordinator
Penn State Abington invites applications for a full-time, yearly renewable position in Composition Studies beginning August 16, 2010. Specialization in composition studies, rhetoric, or closely related field required. The successful candidate will teach a 2-2 load as well as coordinate and serve as a resource for the campus composition program (required freshman and junior-level comp, ESL comp, basic skills courses, WAC courses, and tutoring). Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Qualifications: Ph.D. should be completed by the date of appointment. Candidates must also have college teaching experience; a background working with diverse and/or multicultural populations is especially desirable.
