The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Humanities and Communication in the School of Letters and Sciences on the Polytechnic campus of Arizona State University seeks an assistant professor in digital humanities, rhetoric and composition, or related field. Teaching load is 2/2 for tenure-track faculty with significant research agenda. Teaching opportunities are at upper-division undergraduate level including potential for some graduate teaching and curriculum development. Service is required appropriate to rank.
PhD in English; college-level teaching experience and mentoring appropriate to rank; recognized body of scholarship appropriate to rank in digital humanities, rhetoric and composition, or related field; and evidence of department, college, community and/or professional service appropriate to rank.
Experience with online teaching and learning; work in Digital Humanities; demonstrated commitment to community engagement, placebased inquiry, and useinspired research consistent with mission of a New American University.
