Visiting Lecturer in Professional Writing
McDaniel College invites applications for a one-year position as Visiting Lecturer in the English Department for the 2012-2013 academic year. The candidate's principal specialization should be Professional Writing; experience teaching in a media-rich environment is strongly preferred.
The Lecturer will teach Professional Writing and First Year Composition each semester. Teaching load is 2-2. Position is considered half-time and carries full benefits; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. There is opportunity to teach a third course (FYC) for additional compensation.
Master's degree required, ABD strongly preferred, in English, Rhetoric/Composition, Writing, or a related field.
