Assistant Visiting Professor of English. We seek a composition/rhetoric specialist for the 2013-14 academic year. We are a small, lively, engaged department that values collegiality and collaboration, both within the department and across the campus. The ideal candidate should be prepared to teach a range of undergraduate courses and serve as Assistant Director of the First-Year Composition Program. PhD in English, rhetoric, or closely related area required. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent teaching; evidence of scholarship and a commitment to service. Interests in or experience with online instruction, developmental writing, assessment, writing program administration or other relevant activities helpful.
