Anticipated Start Date: August 2015

Required: By time of appointment, MA degree in Rhetoric and Composition or in a related discipline; minimum of three years’ of post-secondary teaching experience in composition; evidence of effective teaching.

Desired: By time of appointment, evidence of graduate coursework in Rhetoric and Composition; Second Language Writing theory, Basic Writing Theory, and/or Professional Writing theory, PhD. in Rhetoric and Composition or related discipline; evidence of theoretical grounding in writing studies and pedagogy in one or more of the following areas, in addition to related teaching experiences: second language writing, writing in the disciplines/English for academic purposes, developmental writing, workplace writing; evidence of participation in rhetoric/composition conferences or other relevant professional development; evidence of experience teaching multimedia composing or internet and hybrid courses.

General Information: Teach five courses/semester in Writing Programs.
