The Director of First Year Writing provides leadership for curricular and co-curricular initiatives that help students successfully transition to the College through support, guidance, and community. The College’s First Year Program has two curricular components: a two-semester writing sequence, for which the director has direct responsibility, and a one-semester first-year seminar, directed by a faculty lead.
