CWPA Research Grants Call For Proposals, 2011

The Research Grants Committee of the Council of Writing Program Administrators (CWPA) announces its call for proposals (CFP) for 2011. The CFP is attached to ths blog posting as a PD.

CWPA’s Executive Board approved a fifty-percent budget increase for research grants, with a new “targeted research” funding category that will fund one or two larger awards. The targeted research for 2011 seeks proposals for what Richard Haswell has called “RAD inquiry”—“replicable, aggregable, and data supported.” $4000 is available for one or two awards. CALL FOR 2009 WPA RESEARCH GRANT PROPOSALS

The Research Grants Committee of the Council of Writing Program Administrators invites proposals for research projects that investigate issues and practices in writing program administration. Maximum awards of $2000 may be given; average awards are $1000. Applicants must be current WPA members; all current WPA members are eligible to apply.

Deadline for Proposals: January 30, 2009
