 <title>First-year writing</title>
 <link>http://wpacouncil.org/node/1113</link>
<description>The Yeshiva College English Department is in the process of re-thinking its composition program- and its first-year experience in general.

We&#039;re already piloting a course in which we pair composition with another subject, but we&#039;re also interested in themed composition classes, as well as having students take a writing course in their discipline. We&#039;d like to invite outside speakers who&#039;ve had experience with any or all of the above. Has anyone got ideas on good people for this?

Many thanks.

 <title>Wikis and Composition Studies</title>
 <link>http://wpacouncil.org/node/992</link>
 <description>Hello,

I&#039;m a graduate student interested in researching the role of wikis in composition/writing studies. However, I&#039;m having difficulty locating substantial scholarship focusing on this issue, so I&#039;ve decided to reach out to the professionals. Is anyone aware of or familiar with scholars or scholarship focusing on this topic?

In advance, I appreciate any advice or suggestions that will help further my research.

Thanks.
