Workshop and Conference Registration & Lodging
"All-In" Conference Costs
We are eager to make this conference affordable, so we've been calculating "all-inclusive" conference rates, which are available only until May 30. If you go this route, you will pay a flat rate for transportation and housing, which totals $415 for room/board in the dorms, plus shuttle transportation ($85/night for four nights, plus $75 for the shuttle). There is also a charge for conference registration, which includes entry to all events and varies by membership status. The full range of "all-in" costs is as follows:
- Member: $625 All-inclusive with limited roundtrip transportation from Denver International Airport (DIA), 4 nights in dorms, and all meals and events included. Registration is $205; housing and transportation are $415.
- Member Workshop Attendee / Grad Student / PT rate: $500
- Nonmember: $700 All-inclusive with limited roundtrip transportation from Denver International Airport (DIA), 4 nights in dorms, and all meals and events included. Registration is $285; housing and transportation are $415.
- Nonmember Workshop Attendee / Grad Student / PT rate: $550
Summer Workshop
Through the registration button on this page (below), you can also register for the CWPA Summer Workshop. There is a discounted rate if you attend both the Workshop and the Conference, and there are lodging options to accommodate you for the entire week of this in-person event--July 20-25, 2026. Conference Registration Information
- Member Registration: $205 This registration includes entry to all conference events and offers the benefits of membership, including access to current and past issues of WPA Journal and virtual events throughout the year.
- Member Workshop participants / Grad students / Part-time faculty: registration is $85.
- Nonmember Registration: $285 This registration includes entry to all conference events.
- Nonmember Workshop participants / Grad students / Part-time faculty: registration is $135.
Lodging and Board Information
University Dorm Housing: UW has brand new, state-of-the-art dorms at super low prices (just $85 per day) that include the cost of three meals and bedding. Dorm reservations are required by May 30th, 2026. Register early to ensure a single room; double rooms will also be available. All dorm rooms have a sink in the room, with one-person, private bathrooms in the common area that include a shower and toilet. The dorms are three-star hotel grade, though again, one-person bathrooms with shower and toilet outside the dorm room itself. Our advertised all-in costs entail staying in the UW dorms.
Local Hotel Room Blocks: We have secured discounted blocks at two hotels for single or double occupancy. Register for your hotel no later than May 30th, 2026 to guarantee the block rate, which is expected to be $204 per night plus taxes. Call the hotel and reserve the CWPA rate today.
- Hilton Garden Inn Laramie: 2229 Grand Ave. Laramie, WY, 82070. Direct Hotel Phone: 307-745-5500. The hotel is .9 miles from College of Business conference site on the corner of 15th and Ivinson. Free parking and a free shuttle from Laramie Airport, and limited shuttle availability to and from campus conference site. Limited dining on site and several restaurants adjacent. Other Housing Options: There are a range of other hotel and home rental options throughout Laramie, though they sell out fast and may be a distance from the conference site.
Dining on Campus: Participants who are not staying in the dorms but wish to eat at the campus cafeteria can do so. You would just pay onsite at the campus cafeteria using a credit card for each meal.
Bringing Guests
Guests (including children) not actively attending the conference can
- Join conference social events for a fee of $50/person (to cover guest food for that event, and transportation to/from events)
- Stay in the dorms (but please note that people under 18 years of age cannot stay in the dorms)
- Eat in the campus cafeteria (for a fee paid to the cafeteria each time)

Refund Requests
Note that CWPA can honor refunds and cancellations by June 19, 2026. Registrants can also offer to contribute their refund as a donation to the organization and will receive a non-profit donation receipt. To request a refund, e-mail CWPA Treasurer at cwpatreasurer@gmail.com.
