East College is the largest college at ASUâ€™s Polytechnic campus and currently offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate arts and sciences and professional programs. The college has been growing rapidly and is now ready to initiate a program in Literature, Writing, and Film. Programs in East College emphasize applied study and have distinctive characteristics appropriate to a polytechnic environment. The successful candidate will teach program and service courses in English; pursue an active research agenda. Required: PhD in English or related field; college-level teaching experience and record of publication commensurate with rank. Desired: Evidence of successful experience in developing courses and curricula in American literature, rhetoric and composition, criticism/theory, and English education; experience working with colleagues in interdisciplinary environments; and grant writing.
