Cornish College of the Arts is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor of Rhetoric/Composition in its Humanities and Sciences Department, appointment to start August 2008. The successful candidate will teach four courses a year in composition and coordinate the Writing Center in a 2/3 – 1/3 appointment. Cornish offers BFA degrees in art, dance, design, theater, and performance production, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree. Teaching is central at Cornish, and candidates should have a strong commitment to general education and be willing to help design a curriculum appropriate to aspiring artists within a liberal studies framework.
