WPA-GO Updates for CWPA Members
Dear CWPA Members: We are writing to share WPA-GO updates, including a virtual opportunity to meet with WPA-GO incoming leadership.

The upcoming Open House is designed as both an introduction to WPA-GO and an opportunity for graduate students to engage in conversation about the issues, opportunities, and challenges that matter most to them. Topics include the following:
- Graduate labor and working conditions
- Professional development needs
- Mentorship and networking opportunities
- Accessibility and inclusion
- Current challenges in higher education

WPA-GO hopes this event will help them better understand graduate student priorities and shape WPA-GO's programming, advocacy efforts, and community initiatives throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.
They will also be sharing information about opportunities to get involved with WPA-GO committees, including Accessibility, Digital Presence, Diversity, Mentoring, and Outreach. Leadership Council members and committee chairs will be available to answer questions and discuss ways to participate.
