Full-Time Lecturer in English
ENGLISH - Full-time Lecturer in the English Department, College of Liberal Arts, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California, to begin September 14, 2015. Recruitment is for up to four positions. One year appointment with the possibility of an extension to a second year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Duties and responsibilities include teaching freshmen composition and/or technical and professional writing, as well as other courses as needed. A.B.D. or Ph.D. in English or related field required; A.B.D. candidates must have Ph.D. completed by end of Spring Quarter 2016 to be eligible for extension to a second year. Successful teaching record in composition required. Demonstrated ability to teach technical or professional writing, lower-division literature courses, and/or advanced composition preferred.
