FT lecturer position in NY
Pace University, Pleasantville, New York campus, Department of English and Modern Language Studies, invites applicants for a full-time lecturer position in Rhetoric and Composition to begin September 2017. The successful candidate, hired on a one-year renewable contract, will teach a 3/3 course load in the University’s sequence of three core writing courses; will assist in writing program administration; and will participate in service to the department and university.
Desired qualifications: a) PhD in Composition and Rhetoric or equivalent (ABD status acceptable as long as the PhD is completed by August 31, 2017); and b) evidence of teaching excellence in college- level composition courses. Writing program administration experience is a plus.
