The University of Findlay invites applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position in English to begin in August 2017 in the College of Liberal Arts. Candidates will be expected to teach courses in rhetoric and composition at both the undergraduate and graduate
levels. Additionally, secondary areas of expertise in technical communication, English education, and/or linguistics are desired. Candidates may also be asked to teach online or in hybrid classrooms. A Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or in English and prior college teaching experience is expected.Candidates who are ABD will be considered. Rank as assistant or associate professor and salary are commensurate with qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate commitment to student-centered education as well as scholarship and professional development.
